Bennett Collen leads GoDaddy's blockchain + trademark initiative and is an Adjunct Professor at the Boston College Carroll School of Management, teaching Business Applications of Blockchain. He also is Partner at Triblock Advisory, a blockchain advisory firm. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Cognate (a platform that uses blockchain to help businesses protect and profit from  their trademarks), which was acquired by GoDaddy in September 2018.

Bennett is on the blockchain Subcommittee of the Emerging Issues Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA). He is a sought after speaker, presenting lectures, webinars, and education sessions (including as a Continuing Legal Education faculty member) on blockchain at universities and events in the US and Europe

Bennett graduated from Boston College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geosciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
